Co-creators R&D Program
A program designed to co-create a better world
The objective of the program is two fold: (a) to co-create a better world (b) to help co-creators build a future proof career path that leads them towards freedom from time, place and financial worries.
The objectives are achieved through co-creating solutions to communal problems and turn them into scalable social enterprises. We also help exiting businesses to improve their products and processes so they can grow faster and create better solutions and more jobs.
The program has been designed for those experienced professionals who are industry expert in their field. We call them domain experts. Their role is to ensure quality, cost and timeline of plans and works done by research workers (university interns) who are supported by PMO and Finance teams. They use an online co-creators platform that comes with plan templates, automated workflows and embedded governance and control framework to mitigate risk of failures.
Here are the domains of expertise we are looking for:
Product design / startups / Social Impact
Project Management / Mission Control
Operations / value creation
Sales / value delivery
Ops controls / Management (CEO/CFO/Audit/IT etc)
Projected cash flows and financial statements
Remedial actions to close performance vs plan gaps
Anyone who meets at the following requirements can apply for a domain experts role:
Those industry domain experts who can commit at least two hours a week
Those who have completed 990 workshops of our Startup Internship Program and have earned certificates for delivering project building blocks. OR
Those who are university graduates and have at least 5 year of industry work experience relevant to domains of expertise they are applying for.
Domain Expert Professional Fee
Domain Experts are responsible for quality, cost and timeline of plans and works done by research workers (university interns) and get 50% of their teams’ billing to projects.
Let's say a domain expert reviews and approves plans and works delivered by a team of 8 full time members who work 40 hour a week that's 160 hour a month x 8 team members = 1280 man-hours of work billed at $10 per hour to a project and that would be 1280 x 10 = $12800 billed amount; 50% of which, that's 6400, would go to the domain expert.
Please note standard terms of 90 days credit secured by convertible project stock options at nominal value on the due date apply to all work posts from projects unless a different payment term such as cash on delivery are specifically given in a work post.
The convertible stock options against the credit provide co-creators with an opportunity to become co-founders in the startup projects they work for and that would lead to potential capital gains and dividend income over and above the professional fee. However, the opportunity comes with a risk of a loss and therefore domain experts should use their own judgement before accepting the offered terms.
Advisory Board Members Fee
A Pro Bono Advisory Role as a Member of the Board of Directors at Better World Makers Network Pte Ltd, Singapore is offered only to those who are visionary leaders, passionate about advocating the Company’s vision & mission and keen to scale up the social impact worldwide.
In order for the Domain Expert to use the role title of a “Consulting Director '', the Domain Expert must be a member of the Board of Directors of the Company. The members of the board of directors are entitled to a directors fee for every board meeting they attend.
The bases for compensation provided above and the charge-out rates used are indicative and just to explain what the Domain Expert should expect with reasonable certainty. Each building block or assignment published for domain experts to apply for comes with its own terms and conditions.
Projects from startups and the corporate sectors are broken down into the following building blocks by domains of expertise:
RFI or Request for Information requires research work only. The research work may be for investigating root causes of a problem and or running surveys to understand the impact better etc. The team co-create contents, e.g., publishing books, blogs and videos etc and compensated as per agreed terms. Many times, a problem can be avoided just by eliminating the causes.
RFPs or Request for Proposals require R&D to explore the best available solutions for a given problem. The solutions proposed must be able to mitigate the risk or the problem in the best possible way and the target community must accept it. It also requires R&D to innovate and develop new solutions or add-ons to plug in residual gaps that available solutions cannot fill in.
RFQs or Request for Quotations requires R&D to explore supply sources that offers the best value for the money to build an enterprise ecosystem needed to scale up and growth the business.
The program participants are encouraged to initiate their own startup projects as co-creators by publishing RFIs, RFPs and RFQs for known global, communal and industrial problems and turn them into financially sustainable and scalable startups. The program comes with plan templates, simplified processes and automated workflows that help scope startups in such a way that traction and monetization starts within the first 90 days. In addition, the program has an embedded governance and controls framework that minimizes the risk of failure.
